The Nutcracker, a powerful representation of traditional ballet is performing in different theaters across the country. Christmas season is the busiest season for The Nutcrackers and almost every major theater of a city is having this ballet on its Xmas shows list. Ballet DeSoto will present its 8th annual Nutcracker production on Sunday, November 21 at the Hernando Performing Arts Center. The timing for the Sunday show is 2pm. the performance is based on the "The Nutcracker's World Tour" theme and will be performed by more than 226 students.
The Nutcracker ballet is performed in different cities of US by collaborating between Theaters, Ballet Academies or companies. Theater Works has collaborated with the Ballet Academy of Arizona to perform their first annual children's Nutcracker Ballet in the West Valley. The Nutcracker Phoenix show will be performed by 3 – 18 years children dressed in the New York City Ballet costumes at Theater Works on November 26 & 27 at 2 pm and 5 pm. Bob Barrett, the Mayor of the Peoria City will be the special guest for the shows.
The sale of the tickets for the annual “Oklahoma Nutcracker” performance from Norman Ballet Co. is also open. The show, based on the traditional “Nutcracker Ballet” story by Tchaikovsky will be performed at the Nancy O’Brian Center for the Performing Arts at on Nov. 28 at 3pm. cheap Nutcracker tickets The production will greet the families and children with a warm Sand Plum Fairy Tea Party at 1pm to give kids a chance to meet the Sand Plum Fairy, participate in a craft and get a visit from Santa Claus at the tea. A backstage VIP party will also be held after performance at 5m. However there are separate tickets for all the three events, the performance, Tea party and the VIP pass party.
The Nutcracker will also be a part of the Von Heidecke’s Nutcracker Chicago Festival Ballet to be held at Nov 28 at 2pm at Rialto Square Theatre.
The Nutcracker ballet offers fun, dance and musical representation of the Tchaikovsky story and it has it overseas fans as well. A Russian ballet company, La Classique will perform the Nutcracker Atlanta at the Barry Memorial Hall & Theatre on Wednesday November 24 from 7:30pm until 9:30pm. The City of Casper will also host the Moscow ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker production at 7:30 pm on Thursday, Dec. 9.
California Theatre of the Performing Arts will lit up its stage with the Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet “The Nutcracker” for 3 performances due on Dec 3 & Dec 4 at 8 pm and on Dec 5 at 2 pm. Washington, Dc, one of the main attractions for the US visitors give a Xmas treat to its visitors with The Nutcracker Omaha ballet performances beginning from December 2.
The Nutcracker is a seasonal treat for people of any age and its must to watch visual representation of the traditional ballet.
